Week 4, Term 1, 2021

 The most interesting/fun thing we have done during class time this week is outside play.


We started our art this week and I have chosen to do art with Mrs. Heaven and Mrs. Loft.  Our art is going to be portrait art with long necks. 


We created our Whetū stars on Thursday and they look amazing! My mum and my dad helped me with mine. 


Next week we have our school swimming sports. I am feeling nervous and excited

Kite day

 Last Friday was kite day me and Corey made a shark kite I drew it and Corey helped colour it. We used bamboo for the mast and duck tape to hold it together. Corey ran with the kite but it got caught on his shoe and broke. We worked in the QZ to make our kite. What worked well was drawing the shark and colouring it in.

 For play, make, create I worked with Zac and Ganidu. We made a dice for Theodore to make his decisions. Our book we based the dice on was Theodore the unsure. What worked well was sticking it together. I would change the writing on the dice.
