 Week 5, Term 1, 2021



Monday was our school Swimming Sports. On the day I felt nervous and excited. 


We had two art sessions this week and we worked on the eyes, the mouth, and the hair. 


In reading this week I have been reading boy beast it is about a boy that battles different kinds of monsters.


Part of our maths programme is NumBots and I think I am in the middle of good and bad.

 Today was play, make, create. I worked by myself to make a treasure map. Today we based our creations on a book called rain before rainbows. What worked well was making the islands.

Kite day

 Last Friday was kite day me and Corey made a shark kite I drew it and Corey helped colour it. We used bamboo for the mast and duck tape to hold it together. Corey ran with the kite but it got caught on his shoe and broke. We worked in the QZ to make our kite. What worked well was drawing the shark and colouring it in.

 For play, make, create I worked with Zac and Ganidu. We made a dice for Theodore to make his decisions. Our book we based the dice on was Theodore the unsure. What worked well was sticking it together. I would change the writing on the dice.
