numbots and TTRockstars

 Term 2, Week 1 2021


During Term 1 we have been practicing our addition and subtraction knowledge through the online program called NumBots.  At the start, it was super easy but progressively got more challenging.


I am now on level aluminium for NumBots.  

I enjoy NumBots because you get to do maths, and I like maths.

What I find challenging is moving up levels.


This week we have started TTRockstars.  This is an online program which helps us to learn our timetables. First, we had to complete 10 Studio games which were really hard because they had basic facts right up to 12 x 12. Now that the hard part is over we can play in the Garage and start learning our times tables.


I think that TTRockstars will be amazing!

Kite day

 Last Friday was kite day me and Corey made a shark kite I drew it and Corey helped colour it. We used bamboo for the mast and duck tape to hold it together. Corey ran with the kite but it got caught on his shoe and broke. We worked in the QZ to make our kite. What worked well was drawing the shark and colouring it in.

 For play, make, create I worked with Zac and Ganidu. We made a dice for Theodore to make his decisions. Our book we based the dice on was Theodore the unsure. What worked well was sticking it together. I would change the writing on the dice.
