Play, make, create

Image
For play, make, create today, I made a robot to collect Leaves and Acorns. The name of the book we based it on was called The squirrel who squabbled. Today I worked by myself. What worked well was making the robot. I would change the time so I could get more stuff added on.

For play, make, create I worked with Zac and Ganidu. We made a dice for Theodore to make his decisions. Our book we based the dice on was Theodore the unsure. What worked well was sticking it together. I would change the writing on the dice.

Kite day

Image
Last Friday was kite day me and Corey made a shark kite I drew it and Corey helped colour it. We used bamboo for the mast and duck tape to hold it together. Corey ran with the kite but it got caught on his shoe and broke. We worked in the QZ to make our kite. What worked well was drawing the shark and colouring it in.

Today I worked with Zac we made an ultimate treehouse. The name of the book we based it on was called I'm sticking with you. What worked well was the video game station. I would put one more thing in the middle.

High tides

Image
High tides and low tides are caused by the moon. The moon's gravitational pull generates something called the tidal force. The tidal force causes earth and its water to bulge out on the side farthest from the moon. These bulges of water are high tides.

Be you

Today for play, make, create I worked with Sol, Kian, and Liam to make a boat. We made the boat with wooden blocks from the P.E shed. The story we based our play, make, create on was Be you. We created it outside next to our classroom. I would change the way the boat was made and make it bigger.  what went well was teamwork.

numbots and TTRockstars

Term 2, Week 1 2021 During Term 1 we have been practicing our addition and subtraction knowledge through the online program called NumBots.  At the start, it was super easy but progressively got more challenging. I am now on level aluminium for NumBots.   I enjoy NumBots because you get to do maths, and I like maths. What I find challenging is moving up levels. This week we have started TTRockstars.  This is an online program which helps us to learn our timetables. First, we had to complete 10 Studio games which were really hard because they had basic facts right up to 12 x 12. Now that the hard part is over we can play in the Garage and start learning our times tables. I think that TTRockstars will be amazing! These are the Numbots of the week.

Up the creek

For play, make create I worked with Fergus. We based our build on up the creek. We created a paddle boat out of cardboard.  We created it in the hui. I would change the way it goes so that it works.
